Day 1

Toledo, Spain

Meet and assist by our representative at the "exit door" of the airport
Drive to your selected hotel Parador De Toledo or similar

Day 2

Toledo

Breakfast at the hotel
Departure for a half day on a walking tour to get acquainted with Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the capital of medieval Spain until 1560. The tour will highlight the magnificent Gothic cathedral, fortified towers and the medieval castle. Stop at the Church of Santo Tome to see El Greco's masterpiece painting, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz. Walk along the labyrinth of laneways winding through the medieval walled town, viewing the city's stunning Moorish, Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance architecture.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 3

Toledo - Ribera del Duero - Burgos

Check out from the hotel after breakfast
Travel to Ribera del Duero, one of Spain's foremost wine-producing regions. Make a stop for a tour and tasting of its famed red wine.
Continue on to historic Burgos and discover the famous 13th century Burgos Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site and masterpiece of Gothic architecture.

Day 4

Burgos - Bilbao - Guggenheim Museum - Old Quarter - Burgos

Breakfast at the hotel
Departure for another tour of the Guggenheim Museum; then enjoy the local favorite - a "txikiteo" (bar crawl) in Bilbao's colorful Old Quarter.
Later, an exciting experience awaits when you visit the Vizcaya Bridge (UNESCO), the first transporter bridge of steel structure in the world.
Cross to the other side aboard the hanging gondola with great views of the extraordinary panorama of the estuary.

Day 5

Burgos - León

Check out from the hotel after breakfast
Traverse the picturesque countryside to León. Upon arriving into León, departure for a guided tour to visit to the magnificent 13th century cathedral. Continue for a tour of the city featuring the Basilica of San Isidoro and the adjoining Royal Pantheon, the resting place of León's ancient kings.
Pause to marvel at Casa de Botines, designed by Gaudi. Then, settle into your hotel, the Parador Hostal San Marcos or similar

Day 6

León - Santiago de Compostela

Your travels continue to Santiago de Compostela, where the tomb of the Apostle St. James was miraculously discovered. Join a walking tour featuring the city's world-famous cathedral and Praça do Obradoiro. Arrive at your hotel, check in and installation at Parador De Santiago Hostal Dos Reis Catolicos or similar

Santiago de Compostela - Porto, Portugal

Porto

Breakfast at the hotel
Departure on a guided tour to discover Porto's riverfront district. Make stops at Church of Sao Francisco and the Stock Exchange Palace to marvel at its exuberant interior. Along the way, see the 18th century fortress-like Clerigos Tower; the impressive Dona Maria Pia Bridge, and the medieval quarter with traditional boats floating by the riverbanks.
