Day 03

Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel

Embark on a city tour of Tokyo during which you will visit the grounds of the Imperial Palace, formally known as Edo Castle, surrounded by its original inner moat; the Star Attraction, Meiji Shrine, is located in a forest that covers an area of 700,000 square meters and consists of 365 different pieces of tree; it is a picturesque Shinto shrine where cherry blossoms blooming.

Lunch at a local restaurant

Visit Nakamise, a shopping street over 200 meters long that stretches from the outer gate to the temple’s second interior gate. Alongside Japanese souvenirs are sold.

Day 04

Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by motor coach to visit Ueno Park, mostly noted for its stunning cherry blossoms in the Spring months. Then, gain a different perspective on the city of Tokyo during a cruise on the Sumidagawa River.

Lunch at a local restaurant; followed by a visit to Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo’s oldest Temple, dating back to the 7th century.

Day 05

Tokyo

Departure by motor coach to visit to the lovely Sankei-en, a traditional Japanese Garden located in Yokohama.

Sankei-en is a typical Japanese-style garden designed and landscaped by Sankei Hara, a wealthy businessman in the Silk Trade. He reconstructed buildings of historic importance from places such as Kyoto and Kamakura in this garden, which was opened to the public in 1906.

Day 06

Tokyo - Hakone - Kanazawa

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by motor coach to Hakone where you will visit the Hakone Shissei Kaen

This unique Botanical Garden is a wetland garden, founded in 1976 as a place to preserve and exhibit 1700 varieties of Marsh and Alpine plants native to Japan

Proceed to enjoy the visit to the Hakone Open Air Museum; this spectacular sculpture garden changes with the seasons but is home to over 120 permanent sculptures.

Lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to board the Shinkansen or “The Bullet Train“ to Kanazawa, one of the most preserved towns from the Edo Period. Dinner box will be provided on the train

Day 07

Kanazawa

Departure by motor coach for a full day visit to The Ninja Temple which dates back to Edo Period

While not actually associated with the Ninja, the temple earned its nickname because of its many deceptive defenses. Learn about the days of the samurai when you visit Nomura Family House, a traditional residence in the Nagamachi Samurai district.

In the afternoon, explore Kanazawa Castle, and Kenroku-en Garden, one of the three Gardens of Japan and regarded as one of the most beautiful Feudal Lords’ garden in the country.

Day 08

Kanazawa - Kyoto

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by motor coach to visit Natadera Temple, originally built in A.D 717; this striking Temple incorporates several gardens, caves, and cliff sides into its landscape.

Visit Chaya - The Geisha District- then proceed to board the bullet train to Kyoto, a city that blends traditional and modern Japan… Lunch box will be provided on the train

Day 09

Kyoto

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by motor coach for a full day visit to The Kinkakuji Temple, or The Temple of the Golden Pavillon, dedicated to The Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. Gardens around the Kinkakuji are excellent examples of Muromachi Period Garden Design that highlights the relationship between structures and landscapes.

Next, you visit Ryoan-Ji, one of the finest examples of a Japanese rock garden.

After lunch, proceed through the Arasiyama District before stopping at Saihoji Temple.

This UNESCO World Heritage site is often referred to as “Koke-dera” or Moss Temple due to its impressive moss gardens.

Day 10

Kyoto

Departure by motor coach to visit Nijo Castle, to contemplate the elaborated wood carvings, wall paintings, and the Ninomaru Garden, designed by the famed landscape architect and Tea Master Kobori Enshu

Then discover Kiyomizu Temple
After the visit, tea ceremony experience

The temple was built without using a single nail and is named for a Waterfall that is within the complex.

Day 11

Kyoto - Okayama - Osaka

Breakfast at the hotel

Transfer to the train station for departure by bullet train to Okayama

Arrival Okayama, meet and assist by our representative and start a quick tour to explore the colorful and expansive Koraku-en, one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan dating back to some 300 years ago.

Then proceed to visit Kurashiki, an exquisitely preserved merchant town; followed by a visit to a farm to learn about local agriculture.

Lunch at a local restaurant before getting transferred back to the train station and head to Osaka by the Bullet train

Arrival Osaka, transfer to the selected hotel for check in and installation

Day 12

Osaka

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by motor coach for a morning tour to visit Osaka Expo Park and Osaka Castle, and spending time to view the incredible skyline from the Floating Gardens of Osaka
