Day 01 Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Welcome to The Netherlands!

Arrival at Amsterdam airport meet and assist and transfer by private car to your hotel. Check in and installation in your room.
Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the city.

Day 02 Amsterdam, The Netherlands

08.30 meet your guide at Dam Square, Hotel Krasnapolsky Dam 9 and proceed to a half-day Amsterdam city tour.
Explore Amsterdam with a private guide for a more personalized impression of the city of canals. Starting from Dam Square, birthplace of the 700-year-old city, the walking or bike tours can be as short as two hours, or as long as a full-day, depending on your schedule.
Your local guide will explain the history of the most famous city of the Netherlands, including how 17th-century Amsterdam became the wealthiest city in the world, with Dutch merchants scattered across the globe.
Cycle around the famous Red Light District and experience Amsterdam’s laid-back ways. Stop at the Sky Lounge to enjoy the best views in town, and pause at local cafés and bars for a cool beer or hot chocolate, depending on the weather.
You will end your tour in the direction of Begijnhof, where you will catch the fragrance of the Flower Market, before arriving at nearby Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square), home to the former butter market and close to some of the city’s most popular bars. (entrance fees are included)

14.00 your boat departs from Stadhouderskade 30 (1071 ZD), opposite the Hard Rock Café. Amsterdam is best seen from the water, and on this 75-minute canal cruise you’ll experience the best of this historical city. You’ll come across new buildings, bridges, and much more in a city that’s rooted in history but continues to change.
The Amsterdam City Canal Cruise offers you fantastic views of the 17th-century buildings lining the canals and also shows off the growing 21st-century city that Amsterdam has become. You’ll see Amsterdam the way it really is – from the Golden Bend to Overhoeks, the city’s newest quarter, and from the Music Building in the harbor to the VOC ship, the Amsterdam.

Day 03 Amsterdam, The Netherlands

08.30 meet your guide at Damrak no. 26 (near the Central Train station) and explore today the Dutch countryside.
A visit to Amsterdam and the Netherlands would not be complete without having seen the lovely Dutch countryside.
Journey from Amsterdam on an informative tour of the picturesque Dutch countryside. Visit one of the most popular destinations outside of Amsterdam, the windmills of Zaanse Schans, and see its typical green-timbered houses and warehouses.
In Zaanse Schans, admire a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses and visit a working windmill. Then visit the famous and lively fishing village of Volendam. Stop by a cheese factory/museum and enjoy lunch at a traditional fish restaurant.
Afterwards travel back in time to the quaint island community of Marken, where you will visit a wooden shoemaker. In Volendam, try to spot the recognizable Dutch traditional costumes often featured on tourist postcards and posters. You will also have a chance to visit a cheese shop that still makes cheese using the traditional Dutch method before returning to Amsterdam. (entrance fees are included, lunch not included)

Day 04 Amsterdam, The Netherlands

09.00 meet your guide at Central Amsterdam, near Amsterdam Central Station and explore the Holland highlights during a full-day panoramic tour.
Visit The Hague, the seat of the Dutch government, and watch how the blue-and-white Delft pottery is made. Admire the experimental architecture of Rotterdam and climb up the Euromast tower for stunning city views. Travel by air-conditioned coach and listen to an informative guide who shares anecdotes and history about the attractions you see along the way. (entrance fees are included; lunch is not included)
Late afternoon return to Amsterdam and free time in evening.

Day 05 Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Breakfast at the hotel.
First part of the day is free at leisure to explore the city and having lunch on your own.
14.40 meet your guide at Dam Square, next to the National Monument and see the other face of Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a city like no other, known for its iconic landmarks and monuments and also for its coffee shops, bicycles, and prostitution.
As you’ll learn on this 2-hour guided walk the city is also well known for its liberal laws, alternative housing arrangements, and being the first in the world to recognize marriage equality.
Delve into the alternative scene that makes Amsterdam a must-visit destination for visitors interested in sub-cultures. Explore such facets of Amsterdam society as the post-WWII housing crisis that led to the phenomenon of living in boats or in squats, and the counter-culture movements that developed into today’s unmatched cityscape of unique coffee shops and street art.
This is an opportunity to experience an authentic side of Amsterdam that’s not typically included in traditional city tours.
Time for lunch and the afternoon are free at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to the Amsterdam airport by private car for connection of your flight.
