Day 01 Rome, Italy

Welcome to Italy!

Arrival to Rome airport meet and assist and transfer by private car to your hotel. Check in and installation in your room.
Rest of the day is free at leisure and then overnight at the hotel.


Day 02 Rome, Italy

Breakfast at the hotel.
08.15 meet your guide at Piazza del Risorgimento, at the corner of Via Ottaviano and tour one of the holiest sites in Christendom on a guided walking tour of the Vatican Museums including a comprehensive visit to the Sistine Chapel and the masterpieces of St. Peter’s Basilica. With exclusive skip-the-line access, saving you long waits in the lines that usually form outside one of the world’s most popular attractions.
Considered one of the most important places in the history of human civilization, start your tour at the museum to see the important collections of art that various popes have acquired throughout the centuries.

Look out for renowned sculptures and masterpieces of Renaissance art. Feel the weight of history and get a sense of the sacred as you spy paintings by Raphael, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio and Michelangelo, including his masterwork in the Sistine Chapel.
Admire Bernini’s colonnade in St. Peter’s Square and go inside the Basilica. Built over the centuries by famous architects including Michelangelo, its iconic dome is one of the glittering symbols of Rome.

The tour includes the Galleria dei Candelabri, the Galleria degli Arazzi (Raphael Cartoons), the Galleria delle Carte geografiche, the Sala Sobieski, the Sala dell'Immacolata Concezione, the Raphael Rooms, the Borgia Apartments leading to the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica and Square. Day 03 Rome / Pompeii / Rome, Italy

Breakfast at the hotel.
07.10 meet your guide at Piazza del Popolo for departing at 07.30 a full day Pompeii tour.
Travel back in time to a day in 79 AD when the volcanic Mount Vesuvius violently erupted, covering the everyday Roman town of Pompeii in molten ash. This full-day tour from Rome takes you to both sites, interrupted only to enjoy a pizza lunch.
Enjoy a leisurely lunch break and try some of Naples’s world-famous pizza. Then, drive to Pompeii, nestled in the shadow of Vesuvius. The town was once a sprawling metropolis of shops, luxury residences, restaurants, bathhouses, and brothels. You will walk its streets, following in the footsteps of its residents, some of whom are immortalized in startling plaster casts at the precise moment of their death.
Your guide will provide a historic commentary about the ruins, telling a terrible tale of the day it was destroyed and bringing the remarkable site back to life. (Archeological Museum of Pompeii – inside visit included)
Back to Rome, the tour ends at the meeting point.

Day 04 Rome / Florence / Rome, Italy

Early breakfast at the hotel.
You will be picked-up from your hotel between 06:30 and 06:45. Meet your friendly assistant at 07:15 at the Tiburtina Railway Station where you'll be given your train ticket and other necessary information. The train departs at 07:45 and will reach Florence after 90 minutes.
Upon arrival at the Railway Station in Florence, you'll have the option to go on a city tour which will include famous attractions including the Piazzale Michelangelo, which offers a spectacular panoramic view of Florence, the Academy Gallery, where the original "David" stands, the Domo Square, the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower, and Santa Maria's del Fiore Cathedral.
Spend the remaining time discovering the city at your leisure. The train departs at 18:25 and arrives in Rome at 19:55 where services will end. (hotel drop-off is not included)

Day 05 Rome, Italy

Breakfast at the hotel.
First part of this day at free at leisure for shopping and lunch.
13.45 meet your guide at Arch of Constantine to explore the historical Rome by walking tour.
The tour is led by professional guides who will explain the history of Rome and introduce you to some of the most notorious Roman emperors.
Included with your privileged priority entrance to the archaeological areas are headsets that will help you to hear your guide better. You will visit one of the most famous monuments in the world at the Colosseum, the immense amphitheater that was the largest ever built by the Roman Empire. Imagine the gladiatorial fights and public spectacles that took place in the arena.
You will also go to Palatine Hill, site of the foundation of Rome and settlement of the most important houses of emperors and kings. Located just feet from the Roman Forum and Circus Maximus, it is the centermost of the 7 hills of Rome.
Hear about the legends and history of Eternal Rome and stop on the Via Sacra to learn how everyday Roman citizens used to live. You will also visit the tomb of the emperor Julius Caesar, and explore the ruins of the Roman Forum, center of all Roman government and public life. The tour ends at the meeting point. (all entrance fees included)

Day 06 Rome, Italy

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Transfer by private car to Florence airport for connection of your flight.
