USA

Why visit the USA?

The United States of America... The great American experience is about so many things: bluegrass and beaches, snow-covered peaks and redwood forests, restaurant-loving cities and big open skies.
This is a country of road trips and great open skies, where four million miles of highways lead past red-rock deserts, below towering mountain peaks, and across fertile wheat fields that roll off toward the horizon. The sun-bleached hillsides of the Great Plains, the lush rainforests of the Pacific Northwest and the scenic country lanes of New England are a few fine starting points for the great American road trip.
The USA has made tremendous contributions to the arts. Chicago and New York have become veritable drawing boards for the great architects of the modern era. Not only this, but jazz, funk, hip-hop, country, and rock and roll – America has invented sounds integral to modern music. America is the birthplace of LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, Boston and New York City – each a brimming metropolis whose name alone conjures a million different notions of culture, cuisine and entertainment.

What does USA bring in mind?

Visit Maui

Maui is not nearly as large as the Big Island, nor is it as small as Lanai, as bustling as Oahu or as quiet as Kauai. For many Hawaii vacationers, Maui is just right — offering a taste of just about everything the Aloha State has to offer, from impressive wildlife to intriguing history and culture

Yellowstone

With steaming geysers, multicolored pools, bubbling hot springs and hiking trails that stretch for miles, there's plenty to excite nature lovers in this national park. Plus, animal fans will appreciate a visit to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center to learn about wildlife in the area

San Francisco

San Francisco's culture has been affected by diverse ethnic groups and many social movements. The best way to perceive the City by the Bay's character is to explore each individual neighborhood. From the Mission to the Castro, visitors appreciate each enclave's offerings

Yosemite

In Yosemite, you can check out famous landmarks like Half Dome or get some exercise hiking the John Muir Trail. Come in spring, summer or fall to avoid winter's wet weather conditions. And if you're not one for camping, you can make this park a day trip from San Francisco, Sacramento or Lake Tahoe

Honolulu

Oahu features a nice balance of urban and beach environments. And with pleasant weather year-round, there really is no bad time to visit. Waikiki Beach promises to please, but be forewarned: There's a good chance you will be greeted by a barrage of tourists

A trip to Disney World is a rite of passage for little ones. And over the years, the "Imaginers" of Disney have gone to great lengths to enchant adults, too. More than ever before, Disney World offers a type of escapism you can't find anywhere else

Jackson Hole

Cape Cod

While the Cape's shoreline entices many visitors, the main draw here is the sense of tradition and laid-back atmosphere. Cape Cod hosts a loyal following of Northeasterners during the summer season; this can make house rentals and hotel rooms expensive, so book early.

Las Vegas

Some of the best dining, shopping and nightlife in the world can be found at America's playground. Though it may not be ideal for everyone, Sin City is a great getaway if you are looking to escape the real world - however innocently or as excessively as you choose.

Things you shouldn’t miss in USA

  • Ski Jackson Hole, Wyoming In the rugged Tetons, this resort has long attracted advanced skiers, who test their nerve on the narrow chutes and steep couloirs of Rendezvous Mountain.

  • Rock ‘n’ Roll in Memphis, Tennessee Since Elvis died in 1977, Graceland has become a shrine for fans.

  • Jazz it up in New Orleans, Louisiana 2015 marks the tenth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. New Orleans’ 200-year-old French Quarter, around Bourbon and Royal streets, was back in business first, but those in the know prefer the vibe along Frenchmen Street.

  • Taste the world’s best BBQ in Tennessee Connoisseurs argue over the best barbecue styles: Kansas City or Memphis? South Carolina or Texas? Vinegar-based or spicy? Tomato or mustard-based? Find out more at the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest in Memphis, where 250 competitors slow-cook pork and beef using secret recipes.

  • Relax on one of America’s best beaches, Florida

  • Shop till you drop on Black Friday The day after Thanksgiving is known as Black Friday, because that is when retailers are said go “into the black”, into profit. This is the kick off to the Christmas shopping season, with sales in malls and outlets.

  • Swing into the saddle in Montana, Colorado There are four sorts of ranch holiday: plain working ranches, fancy resorts, guest ranches and dude ranches. For riding, riding and more riding head for the Rocking Z (Montana); for fishing, hiking, family fun and trail rides, try Elk Mountain Ranch (Colorado), all of 9,600 feet above sea level.

  • Swim with dolphins in Florida Dolphin encounters are offered at waterparks everywhere, but at Dolphin Cove on Key Largo, the fun is matched by learning. After a 45-minute lesson, join these highly intelligent mammals in the lagoon. They tow you in circles, push you with their snouts and provide the thrill of a lifetime.

  • Cruise Ol’ Man River: the Mississippi Board the American Queen, perhaps the most luxurious stern-wheeler ever built. With luxurious Victorian-style staterooms and dining saloons, this is like Showboat – with air-conditioning.

  • Snorkel with tropical fish, Key Largo, Florida

  • Relax on Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Top States in the United States of America

Los Angeles

Los Angeles, USA_kicsinyitett.jpg

LA runs deeper than her blonde beaches; she is a myth. She has given us Quentin Tarantino, Jim Morrison and Serena and Venus Williams; popularized implants, electrolysis and Spandex; and has nurtured not just great writers, performers and directors, but also the ground-breaking yogis who first brought Eastern wisdom to the Western world.
LA is best defined by simple life-affirming moments: a cracked-ice, jazz-age cocktail on Beverly Blvd, a hike high into the Hollywood Hills sagebrush and a swirling pod of dolphins… And her night music. There is always night music.

Honolulu

honolulu-hawaii.jpg

Here in Honolulu, away from the crowded haunts of Waikiki, you get to shake hands with the real Hawaii. A lively Polynesian capital, Honolulu delivers an island-style mixed plate of experiences. Eat your way through the pan-Asian alleys of Chinatown, where 19th century whalers once brawled, and immigrant traders thrived.
Ocean breezes rustle palm trees along the harbor-front; forested hiking trails offer postcard city views. At sunset, cool off with an amble around Magic Island or splash in the ocean... and after dark, migrate to Chinatown’s edgy art and nightlife scene.

Las Vegas

amerikai-egyesult-llamok-las-vegas.jpg

It's a strange, Technicolor-tinged fantasy straight out of the movies - there is only one place you could be.
Vegas, baby: it's the ultimate escape. It's the only place you can spend the night partying in ancient Rome, wake up in Paris and brunch under the Eiffel Tower, watch an erupting volcano at sunset and get married in a pink Cadillac at midnight.
Time is irrelevant in Sin City. There are no clocks inside casinos, just never-ending buffets, ever-flowing drinks and adrenaline-fueled gaming tables.

Washington

Capitol Building, Washington, USA_kicsinyitett.jpg

There is nothing quite like the Smithsonian Institution, a collection of 19 behemoth, artifact-stuffed museums, many lined up in a row along the Mall. The National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of Natural History, National Museum of American History, Freer-Sackler Museums of Asian Art – all here, all free, always.
Washington is the showcase of American arts, home to such prestigious venues as the National Theatre, the Kennedy Center and the Folger Theatre. Jazz music has a storied history.

Miami

Sea coast, Miami, USA_kicsinyitett.jpg

Miami is so many things, but to most visitors, it’s mainly glamour, condensed into urban form. They are right. Well, they call it the “Magic City”. Miami is so many things. All glamorous, in every sense of the word. You could spend a fun lifetime trying to escape her spell.

California

Golden Gate Bridge, USA_kicsinyitett.jpg

From towering redwood forests in foggy Northern California to perfectly sun-kissed surf beaches in Southern California, this Golden State alongside the Pacific is a prize.
California is older than it seems. The wonder about hitting California's highways and byways is that things get more dramatic with every winding mile you detour from the big cities – trees get bigger, picturesque towns cuter and beaches more idyllic. California is enough for a lifetime of road trips.

New York

USA New York_kicsinyitett.jpg

Epicenter of the arts. Dining and shopping capital. Trendsetter… New York City wears many crowns. It’s a place where one is truly free to be themselves. So, come as you are, shed your apprehensions, let it all hang out and join the fray.
Although the city may present itself as rather straightforward, New York is infinitely complex… It really doesn’t matter when you visit – today, tomorrow, or in a year’s time – New York will always be ahead of the curve.
