The Louvre Palace

The Louvre is not only one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, it is also one of the largest too, situated in the heart of Paris. This 13th Century building is one of the best-loved places in France and it is easy to see why; the amazing architecture, the magnificent artifacts inside the building and the history of the building itself gives the Louvre an inspiring atmosphere that is not to be missed.

The Famous Eiffel Tower A monstrously tall structure on the list of the most important places to visit in Paris. Eiffel Tower was named so due to the architect who built the tower itself. It has stood the test of time by still being a huge tourist attraction. The Eiffel Tower is a beautiful monument that is definitely worth a visit on your way through Paris. There is a small fee to pay to climb the tower but once at the top you will be glad you climbed the steep steps to the top.

Notre Dame Cathedral

Notre Dame is easily one of the most recognizable names when it comes to churches; you have the history, the myths and even a Disney film which was made regarding the place. A magnificent structure and the history just adds to the interest of the cathedral. However, many of the original religious art and stained glass windows had to be rebuilt after the French Revolution where the cathedral was almost destroyed; but it stood strong and today you can visit it in all of its glory.

Disneyland Paris Disneyland Paris is another well-known hot- spot for tourists in France and it has really taken off in the past decade too. The best thing about Disneyland is that it is great fun for the kids. Terrify yourselves with roller- coaster rides and don’t forget to have photos with the characters.

Moulin Rouge Moulin Rouge is a famous cabaret theatre which gave the Can-Can dance its origin many years ago. The Moulin Rouge club specializes in risqué material and burlesque styled outfits; because of this there was a lot of trouble in the earlier years, but it is still standing today and going strong. Today the show is much more modern although they do still dress and act in a very similar manner.

Carnaval De Nice

Carnaval De Nice is one of the world’s most famous carnivals and takes place every February through to March during a period of two weeks attracting over one million visitors each year. The carnival has a huge parade where most people dress up to mark the occasion and celebrate in style. You will be able to sample great food and drink, watch some fantastic shows and listen to great music

Champagne Tasting in Reims The champagne in Reims is the finest in all of the world and a tasting session here should be an excellent experience. There are many vineyards in the area and many of them allow you to tour their fields, factories and of course taste their wares.

Saint Tropez

Saint Tropez is easily one of the most recognizable names when you think of beaches. Every year thousands of tourists travel to this fantastic beach destination in search of sand, sun and relaxation. The weather is almost always gorgeous, and people are always friendly. Saint Tropez is also highly popular with celebrities, so again you may bump into one of your favorite stars. If you want a place for peaceful resting and are hoping to get a tan too, then Saint Tropez is the place you need to visit on your travels through France.

Pigalle... Some X-rated fun If you are looking for some red-hot fun, then Pigalle in Paris is the place for you to be... A place literally overrun with strip joints, exotic dance bars and brothels. This is the red light district of Paris and there are so many high end clubs here it is hard to determine which one to go into. If you are just looking for a private lap dance, then this is the place to be for your bachelor party.

Strasbourg

This cosmopolitan city is located right between Germany and France with a real international feel since Strasbourg also serves as the headquarters for the European Parliament. The city is an easy two- hour train ride from downtown Paris.
