Osaka

Welcome to Osaka

Meet and assist at Osaka international airport by our representative

Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel, check in and installation

Enjoy the remaining of the day at the hotel

Day 03

Osaka - Nara

Breakfast at the hotel

Full day guided tour in Osaka, the birthplace of many of Japan’s most renowned arts, such as Kabuki Theatre and the Tea Ceremony.

Departure by bus to visit the Massive Osaka Castle, which houses a museum dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the Legendary Leader who did build it.

Proceed to Osaka History Museum to learn about the city’s rich heritage

En route to Kyoto, a short stop in the former Capital City of Nara, followed by a visit to the local Buddhist and Shinto Shrines, including the Todaji Shrine, home to the world’s largest Bronze Buddha Statue

Lunch at a local restaurant; then stroll in Nara Park, home to over 1200 wild deer considered sacred by locals. 

Drive to Kyoto, arrival, check in and installation in the rooms

Free dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel

 

Day 04

Kyoto - Gekkeikan - Fushimi

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by bus for a tour of Kyoto, the city that served as the capital of Japan for more than one thousand years and still considered the Spiritual

Capital.

Visit the 17th century Nijo Castle with its intricate architecture and unique alarm system-floors that sound like a nightingale when walked on…

Proceed to one of Japan’s most famous temples: The Glittering Golden Pavilion, and travel onto Ryoanji Temple, which houses the country’s finest Zen

Gardens.

Heading outside Kyoto to contemplate another Japan’ sacred art: the Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum, where you will learn about sake brewing and

enjoying a tasting.

End the day by visiting the Temples honoring the Inari Gods of Sake and Rice at the Fushimi Inari complex

Drive back to Kyoto and installation at the hotel

Dinner on your own and overnight at the hotel

 

Day 05

Koga

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure by bus for a half day tour to discover Shiga sightseeing and Miho Museum.

Back to the hotel and enjoy the remaining of the day at leisure

Day 06

Kyoto

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure in Kyoto. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07

Owakudani Valley - and Lake Ashi

Breakfast at the hotel

Transfer to the train station to depart by the high-speed bullet train to Hakone, a resort town in the Owakudani Valley.

(N.B. You will need to pack a small overnight bag for your stay in Hakone, as your luggage will go directly to your hotel in Tokyo)

Soak up the Valley’s tranquility during a Cruise on Lake Ashi, formed after Mount Hakone had erupted 3000 years ago. Take a dreamlike view of Mt Fuji

looming in the background; and stop in the Boiling Valley to see the Black Eggs cooked in the hot springs (if weather permitting).

Day 08

Tokyo via Mount Fuji

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure from the hotel to the Mt Fuji which stands at an imposing 12388 feet high, to take a panoramic view of nearby Lakes and Villages from the

midway-point observatory

Continue to Tokyo, arrival, check in and installation at the hotel

Free lunch on your own in the town

In the afternoon, visit to the Meiji Shinto Shrine, the final resting place of Emperor Meiji, then proceed to the Shrine’s Inner Garden, home to Irises blooming in springtime and the Spiritually Powerful Kiyomasa’s Well.

Head to the top of the Metropolitan Building to get a bird’s eye view of the city

Back to the hotel and evening free at leisure

Day 09

Tokyo

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure for a morning tour in Tokyo

Cruise down to the Sumida River, and explore Tokyo’s Old Town including the ancient Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most sacred temple;

then proceed to visit the Imperial Palace and its impressive grounds. Pursue a vibrant variety of hand-made crafts and local fare at the centuries-old

Nakamise shopping Arcade.

Free lunch on your own in the town

The remaining of the day is free at leisure to explore Tokyo on your own
